In Oakland (Temescal area) there is this beautiful little shop called  Crimson Horticultural Rarities. In addition to the cutest little brick and mortar store, they also operate a floral design studio that does gorgeous wedding work! You can tell they love what they do, have fun, and are very expressive with their arrangements in a way that I love! Their aesthetic and vision inspire me. I visit their shop every time I visit Oakland.

A couple of years ago,  Jack + Ginger Studios planned a wedding in Guerneville, California – and we got to work with Crimson Florals. I have fond memories of the crew foraging the wedding property on the day of – looking for last-minute touches to add to their pieces. It was a nice detail as they could have just brought the items finished. Instead, they created something seasonally and locally authentic by incorporating the venue’s diverse foliage. This subtly wasn’t lost on me. They approached their florals in a truly organic freeform way that I don’t get to see very often. If you want something truly unique check them out!
